Hi, I’m Angena — a Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for bridging the gap between holistic and conventional medicine. My journey in healthcare has always been guided by curiosity, compassion, and a desire to see people truly thrive — not just manage symptoms.
Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of healthcare settings, from hospital units to community-based and naturopathic-led clinics. I currently serve as a Nurse Practitioner at North York General Hospital’s Seniors Health Centre, while also collaborating with integrative clinics across Ontario. This blend of experience allows me to bring the best of both worlds to my patients — the science and structure of evidence-based medicine, paired with the insight and balance of holistic wellness.
I’m especially passionate about women’s health, preventative care, and chronic disease management. I believe in empowering my patients through education — helping them understand not just what is happening in their bodies, but why. I love exploring how medications work, and finding small, practical, and natural strategies to support everyday concerns — from fatigue and stress to hormonal balance and digestive health.
Throughout my practice, I’ve led initiatives such as developing an IV Iron Therapy Program for patients who cannot tolerate oral supplements and serving as the lead for Pain and Palliative Care at my long-term care site.
My approach is always patient-centered: compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique health story.
At the heart of my work is a belief that healthcare doesn’t have to be divided — it can be integrated, personalized, and truly healing. My mission is to help bridge that gap and contribute to a more holistic, connected healthcare system in Canada.
