Clinical Assisstant, Colon Hydrotherapist
I wanted to become a nurse because it was mostly what I was exposed to when I was younger. Most of my family were nurses so it made me very interested in the profession growing up. I also believe I had the nurturing attitude a nurse encompasses and I always wanted to help those in need. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at Brock University in 2015. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for 5 years on the GI Medical Unit. I was able to gain plenty of nursing clinical skills and knowledge required for me to move on in my nursing career. After experiencing the world of western medicine for the last five years, I wanted to explore the holistic approach to medicine and help find the root cause of illness and be part of someone else’s health journey and make a greater impact.
During my spare time, I like to travel, hang with my friends, family and my dog Bella, go on new adventures, hiking, gym, and have fun in the sun. It is an honour to be working with such a wonderful team who help try to find the root causes of illnesses and try to achieve optimal health for all individuals.
